Remembering the time when I had one of my most joyful Portrait Sessions ever!

Little Miss Jaden’s Cake Smash was full of Joy. From beginning to end. Complete and utter JOY. From the time Mamma and Daddy walked in the door with little Jaden I could feel their sweet loving energy.

Love is also such a fun energy to be around. And mamma and daddy just pour so deeply into little Miss Jaden that we could not help but simply enjoy the session. She had the cutest little toes and cutest little smile any time daddy would talk to her she would lovingly look over at his direction. She was so kind and gentle with her little cake and surroundings and yet curious.

As mamma and daddy gushed over little Jaden and I could not help but ask them to quickly jump in. They both looked at me and said something about not being ready for it. And I came back with my auto-reply of “just a quick one please.” And they did, and we all loved it, and it became one of their final picks!

We finished our session and sat and chatted, cleaned little Jaden, and chatted some more. And they gather their things, we said goodbye and they left with just the same energy they walked in with, joy.

As daddy walked out, he said he wasn’t sure about the session when his wife told him but that he was so glad they did it. And I couldn’t help but selfishly feel the same way. I say selfishly not because of the work, collection purchase, or even the getting to edit beautiful portraits. But because this session brought so much joy to my day.

The rest of my day was full of gratitude and thankfulness. There is something wonderful and peaceful about starting your day just right and this darling Cake Smash Portrait Session could not have been any sweeter.
