BEFORE the session, we will chat about your goals for the session as well as define set design that you like. I have a theme backdrop catalog of over 50 beautiful set designs to select from. We will find a day and time that works for both of us to schedule your Portrait Session. I will send you a Client Guide and your Photography Contract with more information about the session, how to prepare, what to bring, what to wear, etc. Your booking is completed only after the online agreement is signed and payment is made. Please note that due to dietary concerns I do not provide the Cake for any sessions. However, I do work with parents in selecting a stylized Cake to take to your prefer baker that best fits with our theme.
DURING the session relax and have fun! Make sure your baby is fed and gets a good nap before the session. I will sing, dance, jump, make funny noises, and make this little experience the best possible for your little one.
Cake time; don't assume they will dive right in. All parents hope that their little one will dive in and make a mess of the cake, that's what you are paying for! But that doesn't always happen and that's okay. Not every child wants to dive right in and make a mess no matter what tricks we try. It's important to know that even if they don't turn their cake into yummy piles of crumbs, I am still able to catch fun images of them poking at it or carefully picking bits of icing of decorations. It's also a good idea to bring along a favorite toy and some snacks in case your little one needs some encouragement.
Come prepared for one heck of a mess. One thing parents don't often realize is that they too will likely become covered in cake and icing during the session (picture your little miss or mister running/crawling straight towards you and with icing coated hands), so a change of clothing for everyone, not just the birthday boy or girl, is a good idea.
AFTER the session, I have up to two weeks to create your personalized password protected Gallery for you to view and select your final images. Once you have confirmed your selected images from your Gallery the editing process will take about 3 weeks after your selection has been submitted to me ... please note that this is a time frame guide. I push myself to do my best work as soon as possible because trust me I know you can't wait to see your portraits! /span
Yay, your images are done and beautifully edited for you to give them a new home! I will send your selected edited high-resolution images to you via a beautiful gallery for you to download as you would like. With a special option to purchase a personalized phone app customized to you with your complete final portraits for you to download the app to your phone and have your own personalized app.
